A Frozen Waterfall

On New Year's Eve we took a quick hike up to a waterfall. Turns out it was frozen! What a treat! The view from behind the falls.

Road Trip!

This year is the third that Nate's gone to Victoria, British Columbia, Canada for a work conference. This time he invited us along and we were crazy enough to accept his invitation and undertake the road trip of the century! The drive was really long, but we did it and saw some amazing things along the way. Our first "get out and stretch" stop in Twin Falls, Idaho. We stopped to see Shoshone Falls. Pretty darn spectacular.  It was HOT! So this little stream was a tender mercy. We hiked around a bit and Addison and Bryn explored a little cave.   I think this must be a cottonwood tree. There were little fluffs flying all over the place. After that we drove a few minutes down the road and saw the Idaho Falls Temple, our 3rd of the trip (we also saw Ogden and Brigham City). Lunch with Daddy and Liberty Park

Having lunch at Dad's work was something we really wanted to do this summer. When we got down to the final week before school, we decided it was now or never, so down to Salt Lake City we went. Bri was with us and had been for a while, and it was fun to take her down to see temple square. It's so beautiful there. And it's always a treat to see Nate in the middle of the day.
