I love fall! One of the sure signs of fall is apple season. I went to Willard with Leah and Asa to buy apples in late September. We got them from Pettingill's fruit stand. It was fun to look at all the different varieties and see the funny squashes and loads of pumpkins they had. We got two and a half bushels of apples - red delicious, golden something or other, honeycrisp and gala. I love a good mix of varieties in my applesauce. It tastes so much better that way. None of the buggies had working seatbelts, so excuse the shadow in the picture. I was on a short leash. Asa LOVED having a billion apples on his level for several days. He usually had at least one in his hand or in the little pink stroller, full of little teeth marks and bites. The galas seemed to be his favorites.
