My weekend with a future TV junkie

Michelle says blogs and Facebook are appropriate Sunday activities if done "in the proper spirit," so here I am, blogging it up with a singleness of heart. Conference weekend is here again, meaning it's been six months since we moved back from Boston. Crazy! We dragged the TV out from its hallowed place under a pile of clothes in a dusty corner of the bedroom, and after an elaborate ritual involving antenna cables and tin foil, channel 5 comes through in perfectly fuzzy black and white. The virtues of facebook

I just had to announce to the world that I am pleased with myself. I don't want to tell my hubby "I told you so," so I'll just tell everybody else. I told him so. See there's this wonderful little thing called facebook where you can keep up with just about all the friends you've ever had. Nate has always been too cool for it, but I finally convinced him to just sign up and if he hated it he could avoid looking at it ever again. And now he's seen the light. Not only did he sign up, he's got his profile all set up, and he's put pictures up and he's sent messages all over the place. And he likes it! Hooray for Natey!
