St. George Marathon and Visit to St. George

Image
Ah how I've missed blogging. It's quite therapeutic for me to sit down and write about the good times that our little family has. Otherwise, I tend to forget about them! We are so busy all the time, and I frequently feel like all I ever do is drive/clean/grocery shop and hound my kids to do this or that. So it's really nice to be able to look back and say, "Hey, we did something really fun as a family." Or, "Wow, we really do spend quality time together sometimes!" Fun Fall Activity: Spooky Spiders

It's the most wonderful time of the year! Fall is my favorite Utah season. The smells, the nip in the air, the corn mazes and costume ideas, crunchy colorful leaves, the list goes on. October is a magical start to the magical ending of the year. Today we had our first "fun fall activity" of the season. Leah is joining us this time around, which is fun. We made spiders and spiderwebs. Super simple and we didn't have to buy anything. I was quite impressed with the kids' creativity. Addison made a triangular spiderweb and Bryn discovered that her spider could "hold" things, and before I knew it, each of its little legs had a pencil wrapped in it. Hard at work. The finished products! Leah with her spider, Baby. Bryn and Rainbow Legs. Addison with Spish. This little guy was unappreciative, though. It was time to eat.
