Fathers and sons outing
I should probably put that in quotation marks, since we didn't actually go camping, or even go up to the campground. But my philosophy is, let's enjoy ourselves at all costs. It had been raining and was still awfully cold, and I figured a campout would not contribute to father-son bonding. So we went to Zaxby's instead. To undo the damage to our health that did, we went on a bike ride from the mouth of Ogden Canyon to downtown and back. Google Maps says it was 5 miles round trip. I was really proud of Addison - it was hard for him at times, with those tiny wheels and one-speed bik, but he'd just take a little break and then say, "OK, let's go." It helped that we went right past the Dinosaur Park and a playground, and that there were periodic tunnels and bridges and murals. It's a great bike path, right along the river, and one we'll definitely do again. Peeking in at all the dinos - Add was in heaven spotting the t-rexes and ankylosau...
