Girls' Weekend out in Georgia

Image
. . . And we're back! Big news from our neck of the woods: we moved! We are officially living in our new house and will never, NEVER move again as long as we live. At least that's the plan. Photos to come soon. I wanted to toss up some pictures from a little excursion the girls and I got to go on at the end of January. Nate bought us plane tickets to Georgia at a screaming deal for Christmas. It was pretty stressful to plan it all, what with school and flying out of Vegas instead of Salt Lake, but Nate pulled it off and it turned out to be just what the doctor ordered for me. As the first plane took off, Leah said, "Are we taking off? WHEEEEE!" She thought it was so fun. Bryn expected to be really scared, but discovered that it's not so bad after all. A Few More Summer Highlights

Image
Toward the end of the summer the kids were really into having their quiet time downstairs. The legos were put to good use on these days. The arctic. One of many architectural renderings of our new house, by Addison.  Nate's stairway to heaven, or Tower of Babel perhaps.  Leah's tower. Nate and Addison ran a race in August. Though Bryn and I stayed home and frantically cleaned for a showing, I heard that Leah was a top-notch cheerleader as Dad pushed the stroller. Asa counteracted her efforts by grabbing the front wheel of the stroller from time to time. The racers. They each took 3rd in their age group.     The very last day of summer, we visited the airplane museum. It is so close to our house, and it's free! It was fun to spend a half hour looking at planes and helicopters. The kids enjoyed choosing planes to have their picture taken by.
