Peter and the Wolf

In March we found a babysitter for Emmeline and took the four oldest kids to see Peter and the Wolf. A small group of the Utah Symphony, and Ballet West II performed it. It was awesome! Every last one of us really enjoyed it. There was a narrator that told the story, which helped the kids to follow what was going on.

Leah is Six!

Happy birthday to our sweet Leah! She turned six in May. Her birthday was on a Monday, so she went to ballet and school and Bryn's softball game! A busy day, but we managed to squeeze in plenty of celebration time. She had afternoon kindergarten this year, so she and Asa and I got to go to lunch on her birthday. She picked to go to Wendy's. She is interested in so many things. She has...

The girl loves to have things on her calendar. Heading out the door for practice during the winter. A sneak preview of the beginning of her recital dance. The recital was in June, and they did The Secret Garden. The different classes were different types of flowers. Leah's group were the Green Shoots. The costume was adorable. Her recital was actually pretty awesome. They did it in the auditorium of the college nearby and had live musicians accompanying a lot of it. Grandma and Aunt Bri and ...
