Georgia Vacation: Country Time
You can't go to Georgia without enjoying some time with livestock, if you ask me. Mom and Dad got two new cows. Actually one of them is Ryan's. He bought it and will sell it when it's time for processing to save up for his mission. They are cute little gals. Polly and Pumpernickel (Pump, for short) are their names. Leah has a love affair with cows and was completely thrilled every time we came close to them or talked about them. She is very good at mooing, although at this point it sounds more like "boo"ing. It melts my heart. We got to feed them watermelon rinds and it was fun to watch them slobber and chomp and otherwise appreciate them. Leah in bovine heaven. Mom and Dad's neighbors to the back have goats and chickens. We went through the woods one morning and fed them weeds. They were very eager to eat them.
