First Hike of the Year: Adams Canyon
Our family has a goal to do fifteen hikes this year! I thought we should try for ten, and Nate thought twenty(!), so that's where we got the number. At this point in our family's development, a successful hike equals an attempted hike. One that we start, at least. We never finish. We just go until someone's beginning to turn into a pumpkin, or until we're almost late for something, then we head back to the car. Also, we're not particularly well-outfitted. We do have a baby backpack, and also a couple camelbaks for water that Nate and I carry, which are really handy. Throw some snacks in the mix and that's it, baby. That's our 2015 family version of a hike. So here we go: hike number one!
