Hike #11: Green Pond Trail

We went up to Snow Basin the weekend of the big XTerra race. We actually hiked on a trail that said it was closed for races, so the whole time I was terrified that a huge swarm of bikers would round a corner and it would end in carnage all around. Also I was grumpy. But we persevered and managed to enjoy the beautiful weather and scenery anyway. This time around we gave the kids each a sandwich bag to fill with pretty leaves and treasures. It was a big hit and kept them busy for a long time. We'll do it again for sure.

Beautiful foliage.

We're pretty sure we found a beaver lodge out there.

A couple trolls under the bridge.

The leaves were just beginning to turn.
